Cleanup: Harmful salt and corrosives that are left on your reel will eventually impair your reels performance and could cost you "the big one". Simply use SX50RTU or mix up SX50 concentrate in your own spray unit.

Spray a liberal coating of the solution all over the reel, line and any other tackle that has salt buildup. Allow to dry and pack away in a dry location ready for your next trip.

If your reels are looking a bit shabby with salt buildup that has been on the reel for sometime a simple overnight soak in a double strength solution of SX50 mixed at 17:1 will bring your reel up as clean as a whistle. One thing to remember before commencing this process is to tighten up the drag. Remove the reel from the bath let dry completely before putting away.
